Clarence Spady
Spady is "The Modern Day Bluesman" whose music applies to everyone. The star quality of Clarence and his god-given talent combined with the depth and passion of his soul make his music so authentic and meaningful.Clarence has certainly paid his dues playing professionally since he was five on his daddy's knee: with his father's guitar he toured the country with the Greg Palmer Band opening for acts like the Four Tops and the Temptations. It was then that he picked up some of the habits and suffered the hardships that many musicians do on the road.
Clarence's spiritual guidance came from his mother, who sang in the Baptist Church Choir for 45 years. And his playing was seasoned by Pops, who at 78 is rarely not seen by Clarence Jr.'s side (even now at Terra Blues!!). It is from that bond that Clarence draws most of his strength.
