The Niagra's Take on Broadway
(Well! West Broadway - but what's in a few subway stops)

This Trent Jones-directed musical titled "Wrong Way Up," will not disappoint Niagras fans. Robert Whaley is as entertaining as he is talented. Whaley plays the lead "Arthur" who narrates, sings and dances the events in Arthur's troubled life, from his struggle with an alcoholic father to a failed acting career. Whaley's Niagras bandmate Toni Grimaldi pulls out all the stops and puts on an excellent performance as Arthur's conscience.

The two non-Niagras cast members, Rachael Stern (a graduate of NYU's T.I.S.H.) and Jeff Wells (making his first NYC appearance) are two extremely talented performers with amazing voices; we'll doubtlessly be seeing these two in many plays to come. And of course, the production just wouldn't be the same without the three on-stage musicians who make up this multi-talented cast: pianist Frank Spitznage, drummer Graham Tracey and bassist Cody Melvill.

The result: a throughly entertaining play, as Whaley puts on a true Niagras performance.

Don't Miss it!
